Curragh trainer Willie McCreery sends his Tipperary 2-y-o Maiden winner Dolce Strega to Salisbury on Thursday.

The daughter of Zoffany will contest the Group 3 Country Gentlemen's Association Dick Poole Fillies Stakes having failed to land a serious blow in a similar contest at the Curragh less than two weeks ago when fourth to the Ger Lyons trained Bear Cheek.

A combination of softer ground (suited at Tipperary) and an extra furlong will be in her favour as she takes on some useful juveniles including wide margin York scorer Mayfair Lady from the Richard Fahey yard.

McCreery is having a fine season at home and has won with six of his eleven individual 2-y-o runners. He also has a reasonable strike rate on previous trips to Britain with three wins from sixteen tries.

Billy Lee, successful aboard Dolce Strega at Tipperary, has been booked to ride her at Salisbury, his only mount on the card.
