Sovereign Debt has done most of his racing in Ireland this season but could make a first appearance on a British racecourse since the spring at Haydock on Saturday.

The Dandy Nicholls-trained six-year-old's last four runs have all been on these shores, including a Listed victory in the Celebration Stakes at the Curragh in June.

He was last seen finishing third in the Minstrel Stakes and could return to action in the Group Three betfred.com Superior Mile on Merseyside.

James Kelly, racing manager for owner Lady O'Reilly, said: "I spoke to Dandy last week and he tells me the horse is flying.

"He's an incredible horse - you could run him every week if you wanted to.

"Dandy is the trainer and if he feels this weekend's race is suitable, we'll go for it."
