While Gordon Elliott is sending a strong team to Galway, he will also be represented at Glorious Goodwood with Royal Ascot winner Commissioned.

Bought out of John Ferguson's yard for £65,000, he made the perfect start for his new connections when winning the Queen Alexandra Stakes.

He now runs in the colours of Nick Bradley Racing, and the syndicate manager has already mentioned a possible tilt at the Melbourne Cup.

"Commissioned worked well on Wednesday and it is full steam ahead for the Qatar Goodwood Cup," said Bradley.

"The track should suit him at Goodwood and the ground should also suit - the faster the ground, the better for him.

"His last two furlongs in the Queen Alexandra Stakes were quicker than everything in the Wokingham and the race turned into a bit of sprint, so I wouldn't be worried at all about dropping back to two miles at Goodwood. He travelled really well at Ascot.

"Adam Kirby will be on board again."
