Aidan O'Brien has labelled multiple Group One winner Minding as "unique" as he prepares her for the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh on May 28.

Last year's 1000 Guineas and Investec Oaks heroine, who also beat the boys in the QEII at Ascot on Champions Day, reappeared with a stylish win in the Mooresbridge Stakes.

While still engaged in the Lockinge over a mile, she will remain at 10 furlongs for the time being.

"She's a great filly," O'Brien told At The Races.

"It's unusual for a filly to be able to run at the top level over a mile, a mile and a quarter and a mile and a half.

"She's very enthusiastic, has loads of speed, stays well - she's very unique, really.

"I think the plan is to go to the Tattersalls with her at the Curragh. She seems to have come out of Naas very well.

"Seamus (Heffernan) rode her on Sunday morning and was very happy with her."
