Irish Champion Stakes an option for Knight

It is likely to be York or Leopardstown next for Decorated Knight after his luckless run in the Coral-Eclipse.

Roger Charlton's dual Group One winner was interfered with more than once at Sandown and prior to that had run a blinder in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot and won the Tattersalls Gold Cup.

"He's training away very happily, but I haven't done anything seriously with him since the Eclipse," Charlton told At The Races.

"The options really lie between the Juddmonte International at York and the Irish Champion Stakes.

"We know better horses keep coming out and he's up against it, but he has won two Group Ones and he ran very well at Ascot.

"Those races will be hard to win, but we'd be happy if he runs in them and runs well."
