Tiantu finished off strongest of all to win a three-way go for the line in the beginners' chase at Tramore.

The six-year-old son of Getaway travelled well in the race for Paul Power as they tracked Theatre Run racing towards the second last.

Tiantu came under the whip upon touching down and moved into a narrow lead at the last from Theatre Run on his inside and Le Braye on the outside.

He kept finding all the way to line to close out the spoils by half a length at 7/2. He was double that price in the morning.

Theatre Run came in second at 10/1, the same distance in front of Le Braye (13/2).

Paul Power said: "I was hopeful that he would go close in a beginners that was for horses rated 0-102 over hurdles.

"I was a bit worried about the trip but he stayed at it well. He seems to be after improving a good bit since going over fences.

He'll either go for a novice or a handicap now, more likely a handicap.

"He is owned by my mother Brid and we have four on the go for the summer. We mostly do breaking and pre-training."
