Tasitiocht too strong in mares

Tasitiocht made all to justify her short price in the mares novice hurdle at Wexford.

Patrick Mullins bounced the 1/2 favourite out in front in the two-miler and she just needed to be kept up to her work late on to land the spoils.

Nearest pursuer Somedaysomehow didn't help her chances by hanging out left on the home turn and it was left to Carries Darling to chase home the hotpot.

She could only get within a length-and-a-half as Mullins asked his mount to go win her race after the last.

Tasitiocht was following up on her maiden hurdle success at Navan back in September and was recording her fourth career win.

"She was one of the fillies that got sick and was coughing," revealed Willie Mullins.

"She'll be kept to those mares novice hurdles wherever we find the opportunities.

"She got a cut there and seems to have hit a blood vessel. I'm a bit concerned about that."
