Tipped Up Harry prevailed in a driving finish to the novice handicap hurdle at Cork under a strong drive from Adrian Heskin.

Heskin pushed his mount into the lead before three out but he faced a serious challenge on his outside from That’s The Dream and Phillip Enright after the last.

At the line Tipped Up Harry was a short head in front and won at odds of 7/1 from That’s The Dream (10/1).

Mrs Denise Foster trains Tipped Up Harry. She is at a point-to-point at Tattersalls today so her daughter Lucy Stack, who is married to Fozzy Stack, said: “We had a winner today in Tattersalls point-to-point and this is fantastic – two winners from two runners.

“The step up in trip really helped him and he got a great ride from Adrian. He won on that horse before.

“The owner, Jules Sigler, is Canadian and is watching from there. You couldn’t get better owners.”

Despite there being 20 runners in this event, the front two and Ballyfinboy were well clear coming to the last. The latter suffered a crashing fall there.

Gambled on War Of Words (11/2 this morning down to an SP of 7/2) came home third ahead of 12/1 shot After Dark
