Impressive Drinmore Chase winner Arvika Ligeonniere is one of four entries for Willie Mullins in the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day.

The French-bred heads 12 possibles for the feature event on the opening day of the Christmas festival meeting.

Mullins could also saddle Aupcharlie, Marito and three-time chase scorer Twinlight.

Baily Green could renew rivalry with Twinlight after chasing him home in Grade 2 company at Punchestown last month.

The prospect of a strong field looks likely with Oscars Well another star set to line up in the 2m1f event.

Jessica Harrington's Grade 1 winning hurdler bounced back from a heavy fall at Punchestown when impressing at Navan last time.

Noel Meade has entered Sword Of Destiny and Dylan Ross while Tony Martin is also double handed with Benefficient and Dedigout.

His Excellency could return to these shores after new trainer David Pipe gave him an entry while Dazzling Susie, the only mare, completes the entries.

Paddy Power bet: 10-11 Arvika Ligeonniere, 6-4 Oscars Well, 8 Dedigout, Marito, Twinlight, 12 Benefficient, Sword Of Destiny, Baily Green, 16 Dylan Ross, Aupcharlie, His Excellency, 50 Dazzling Susie

Paddy Power said: "Arvika Ligeonniere put in a dazzling jumping display at Fairyhouse last time when he looked to possess a very high cruising speed. Dropping back to just over two miles should determine if he is Ireland's number one Arkle candidate."

The chief support race on the card is the Grade 2 Q8 Oils Juvenile Hurdle which could see Our Conor put his unbeaten record over timber on the line.

He could face a tough task with Willie Mullins entering both Blood Cotil and Diakali, who were very impressive when making their debuts over hurdles.
