Elleval scores for Marnane/Lynch

Elleval (11/4) got off the mark at the sixth attempt but did so quite easily, winning the Dundalk Stadium - Light Up Your Night Maiden at Dundalk this evening for trainer David Marnane and jockey Fergal Lynch. The winner went well clear of Rapid Approach inside the final furlong for a comfortable three lengths win. Afterwards Marnane reported “Elleval is a horse who I rate highly and he is improving with every run. He is a big baby, very immature, and he'll be a nice horse next year over a mile and a quarter.
