Ahead of the Grade 3 Beamish Stout Phil Sweeney Memorial Chase card at Thurles tomorrow they're describing the ground as 'dead' after no overnight rain.

It's officially soft to heavy with a weather forecast for generally dry today and tomorrow.

The ground at Naas (Sunday) is currently soft to heavy, heavy in places.

Thistlecrack Return Marks Start Of Jumping Season

Fans of jumps racing have been rejoicing over the past month with the return of some of the stars of the sport to the track and although the action will ramp up another notch in November, there has still been plenty to take in during the first few weeks of the ‘proper’ National Hunt season in the UK.
