The Willie Mullins trained Call The Police (11-10) heads a list of 38 entries for the Grade A Thyestes Handicap Chase at Gowran on January 24th.

Mullins, who won the race last year with On His Own, is responsible for nine entries which are Apt Approach (11-8), Lambro (11-2), Quiscover Fontaine (11-1), Deutschland (10-13) Bishopsfurze (10-12), Uncle Junior (10-11), Shakervilz (10-8) and Sweet My Lord (10-2).

Tullintan (9-13) and Jadanli (9-12), who finished second and third in the race last year, could return for another shot at the prestigious contest.

Charlie Swan’s Start Me Up (10-4) was well fancied for the race last year but was pulled out with a temperature. He could take his chance this time around while the Colm Murphy trained The Westener Boy (10-5), Paul Nolan’s Panther Claw (9-11) and Son Amix (10-9) for Tom Cooper are all interesting entries.
