Sprinter ready for Ascot weather permitting

Queen Mother Champion Chase favourite Sprinter Sacre heads seven declarations for Saturday's Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot.

The 2012 Arkle winner is set to renew rivalries with Sanctuaire, whom he beat in the Tingle Creek at Sandown, should the meeting pass a precautionary inspection at 4.30pm on Friday.

Last year's winner Somersby - now in the care of Mick Channon - will defend his title while Wishfull Thinking, Kumbeshwar, Idarah and Kinkeel complete the line-up.

His Excellency and Mad Moose were the two left out at Thursday's final declaration stage.
