Tote Ireland has announced the appointment of Noel Hayes as Commercial Director.

Mr Hayes will join the Tote in March from Boylesports where he currently hold the post of Head of Sportbook with responsibility for the non-retail business divisions.

Prior to joining Boylesports in 2011, Noel held a number of positions within the Paddy Power group, most recently as Poker Retention and VIP Manager and previously as Poker Product and Operations Manager.

Welcoming the appointment Tim Higgins CEO of Tote Ireland said: “I am very excited to have Noel join the team. The future success of Tote Ireland will depend on building strong revenue streams across several channels and Noel has tremendous experience of doing that with both Paddy Power and Boylesports. In addition Noel’s passion for the industry and commitment to excellence made him the ideal person for this newly created role. The next few years promise to be very exciting for Tote Ireland and its customers”.

Noel Hayes said: “The future for the Tote is bright. Whilst the challenges are plenty so too are the opportunities. I look forward to building the brand, to harnessing technology to improve product delivery and to ensuring that our customers are both rewarded and motivated to support our racing industry. I am excited about taking up this role and about the challenges that lie ahead. I look forward to working with Tim and the rest of his team within the Tote and those under the broader Horse Racing Ireland banner.”
