Hurricane Fly is among fourteen horses entered for the Grade 1 BHP Insurance Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday.
The Willie Mullins trained gelding will be bidding for a hat-trick of wins in the prestigious contest but will face stiff opposition from both UK raiders and home based horses.
The 2010 Cheltenham Champion Hurdle hero Binocular is one of two Nicky Henderson trained entries along with the classy 6yo Grandouet.
Last year’s Truimph Hurdle winner Countrywide Flame could also make the journey across from the John Quinn yard.
After winning at Naas on Saturday Solwhit remains among the entries but he is doubtful to take part.
The progressive Cause Of Causes is an interesting contender for Gordon Elliott while Dermot Weld could run both Unaccompanied and Hisaabaat.
Willie Mullins also has Zaidpour, So Young and Thousand Stars among the entries while Captain Cee Bee, Trifolium & One Cool Shabra complete the list.
