Willie Mullins' Vesper Bell features among 16 horses declared for Saturday's Betfred Classic Chase at Warwick.

Mullins also entered Graham Wylie's On His Own but has decided on the younger Vesper Bell, who fell at the first in the Becher Chase but had previously pushed Goonyella close at Punchestown.

Carruthers tops the list as he makes his season bow having been pulled up in the Midlands National when last sighted in March.

Owners Brocade Racing are represented by both the David Pipe-trained Master Overseer and Colin Tizzard's Hey Big Spender.

Emma Lavelle's decent novice Shotgun Paddy steps up into open company while Nigel Twiston-Davies' Cheltenham Festival winner Same Difference takes his chance. Twiston-Davies also runs the 11-year-old Major Malarkey.

In-form Caroline Bailey runs Noble Legend, Anthony Honeyball is represented by Victors Serenade while Rebecca Curtis relies on Boyfromnowhere rather than Teaforthree.

Venetia Williams won last year's race with Rigadin De Beauchene and this year runs Emperor's Choice, who needs to put a dismal run at Haydock behind him.

Any Currency, Loch Ba, Solix and Safran De Cotte also feature while Dr Richard Newland's Royale Knight, very impressive at Kelso in a decent race last time out, runs from 3lb out of the handicap.
