Daring Carlotta looked a very smart prospect when justifying her short price in the concluding Helena Sheahan Memorial bumper at Listowel in great style.

Willie Mullins' charge was sent off the 9/10 favourite for the finale and there was never a moments doubt for her supporters.

Patrick Mullins challenged between horses turning for home and the Kayf Tara filly cruised into the lead over a furlong out.

The champion amateur only had to move his hands briefly inside the final furlong to scoot away from his rivals and the winner went on to post a very easy three-and-a-quarter length success.

Daring Carlotta was winning the same race as illustrious stable-mate Annie Power took two years ago and like her at the same stage was also stretching her unbeaten record to three.

“She's improving with every run. She's not big, very small and slight, a real lady but she's got a fair engine,” said Patrick Mullins afterwards.
