Tote Ireland have today announced changes to their Pick 6 bet guarantee levels. The daily guarantee levels for the Pick 6 will remain at €25,000 but may on occasion, rise to €50,000 or be set at €10,000.
Additionally, Tote have announced that in the near term, they will implement a reduction in minimum unit stake to 10c from 50c for the Pick 6 and new Quick Pick bets for customers.
Both of these new features will be available online and on-course with the Tote Quick Picks allowing customers to do Lotto-style Quick Picks on the Pick 6, Jackpot, Placepot and Trifecta bets.
Tim Higgins, Tote Ireland Chief Executive Officer said: “Since we introduced the daily guarantees we’ve seen a significant increase in customer interest in the Pick 6. The bet has been really successful for our customers and this year alone saw an average payout on the Pick 6 of €19,055.
"At Roscommon on August 5th we had our biggest ever Pick 6 payout of €198,255 to a €1 stake. The planned reduction in the unit stake will make the bet even more accessible for customers, allowing them to cover more permutations and increase their chances of winning."
