Cape set for Concorde test

Rae Guest is likely to send Cape Factor to Tipperary at the weekend in search of some cut in the ground.

The Group Three Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes on Sunday is the favoured option at this stage.

The three-year-old filly also has three entries on Saturday - in the Guisborough Stakes at Redcar as well as the totepool Challenge Cup and the totepool EBF Stallions October Stakes, both at Ascot.

Guest was delighted with her second place behind Athenian in a Listed event at Baden-Baden in her first race since the French 1000 Guineas at Longchamp in May.

"She'll go wherever it rains and at the moment that looks like Tipperary," said the Newmarket trainer.

"She ran a very good race, after a break, in Germany. She's in good form now.

"If the rain comes she'll go there with a good chance."
