Bryan Cooper is expected to make a quick return to the saddle for the big weekend meeting at Fairyhouse despite suffering a fall at Thurles on Thursday.

The jump jockey, retained by powerful owners Giggingstown House Stud, was stood down for the rest of the day following his tumble from Empire Of Dirt at the second fence in the Killinan Beginners Chase.

"He's OK. He's just sore after he got a kick on the leg," said his agent Alan Donoghue.

"He's hoping to make the Fairyhouse meeting on Saturday and Sunday, no bother."
