Millers Reef features on Paddy Power's steamers page today falling in price from 7s into 4s for the Taunton Jaguar Handicap Hurdle at 3.40.

In June 2011 at the Ormond Hunt meeting in Ballingarry, Millers Reef looked set to make a winning debut when rising to the final fence in front in the first division of the five-year-old geldings' maiden only to crash out with the race at his mercy. The son of Bob Back from the family of Nick Dundee and Ned Kelly seemed set to go on from there but he remains a maiden after seven subsequent outings.

Sold out of Colin Bowe's yard for £14,000 at Brightwells Cheltenham November Sale to Tom Malone and Jamie Snowden, he runs today for the latter with Daryl Jacob taking the ride. He begins life in handicaps off a basement mark and he can surely go well in this extended two mile three furlong contest on the forecast quick ground.
