I'm delighted for the owner Mark Phelan who has been very patient with the horse. His company BHP Insurance sponsors the Irish Champion Hurdle,. He had a good run here on his second last start but disappointed a bit the last day. He loves the surface and will keep on the go over the winter.
Soul gives Halford quick double
He did it well from his draw (widest in 14),. He loves that surface. He's a big strong horse and is improving with racing. We'll keep him to that surface.
