Mark Twain wins opener at Cork

That was good and Colm gave him a great ride. He's progressing all of the time. His last three runs have been quite good. He's been taking his time to get his act together. He's still a bit weak and I think he'll be a much better horse next year. As regard plans we don't have any as he could quite possibly be sold.

Foley's good run continues

He deserved that, he's being running consistently all year without a win. Shane gave him good ride, they went very fast early on and it took nerve to sit where he did as he was 2nd last coming into the straight. We will keep him going now and probably stick to handicaps over a mile for him.

I'm delighted with that he was a bit of a madam in Galway where he got his ground but he just didn't do a stroke on the flat so I said right we're going hurdling. He stayed well and he jumped super. We will probably go for a four year old handicap hurdle in Listowel next.

Things are going well after a lean spell. We bought this lad out of Dave Myerscough's. He took a while to come to himself but I think he's good enough to go novice hurdling we will look at Listowel next for him. He likes a cut in the ground he definitely won't go on fast ground and we might go back on the flat later on in the year.
