Moore repeats New Year's win

I'm delighted for Pass The Hat's owners (Marcus Beresford) as they are super owners and have been with me a long time . we won this race back in 2002 with their Marcus De Berlais. Next season Pass The Hat will probably go chasing but we'll go for a handicap hurdle next.

Spring starts New Year with a win

Spring Wine tipped along in front here yesterday but when he is headed, he stops. I said to Ian (McCarthy) going out there that it was his last chance and to grab ten lengths at the start if he could. Ian probably thought I was mad and said to me ‘are you sure on this ground?' and I said to ‘grab 20 lengths if you can'! I'm glad the plan worked out.

Dullea flying with second winner

Firebird Flyer is a nice horse but wants a trip. He ran fine ay Limerick earlier this week but I was still a bit disappointed in him. However he came out of the race very well and came here today in better form than going into Limerick. He'll have a little break now after his two quick runs and we'll probably wait unFebruary with him. I'm over the moon with the win and am delighted for his owner Catriona O'Donovan, a country singer from Bandon.

Winner-a-day for Enright

it's great to get a winner here and I'm del for Herb (Stanley, winning owner) as he's a great supporter of our yard. Philip gave him a super ride and a few different people suggested the horse should be ridden more prominently and they were right.

Big week for Enright

Big Jemmy stays and jumps well but hates that ground. We'll wait and see what to do with him when the ground gets better. I thought we weren't going to get any winner at Tramore, we had two seconds earlier, but it's good to get a winner here.
