Her dam is a half-sister to the dam of Kingston Hill so it was a bit of a boost for the pedigree to win again. Last year was a right off . everything went wrong. She had all sorts of niggly problems . nothing went right.

She's a very green filly and she'll come on a lot from it. She has a lot to learn and she only came to hand in the last couple of weeks to play herself on to the team.
Boqa's a tough customer
He's out of a half-sister to Oratorio. He's not the type to win a race by three or four lengths but if he was a human you wouldn't mind being beside him in the trenches as he'd definitely stand up and be counted. Wayne said he enjoyed the better ground and I think he might get a mile and a quarter.
Valentine keeps Deegan and Hayes smiling
He's a grand sort of horse and he'll probably be better when he steps up in trip. He handled the ground well but he's still a bit of a baby both mentally and physically. He should be better towards the back end of the year and also as a four-year-old. He's going the right way anyway,.
Cliff rounds off the card in style
Nothing was unexpected . we came to the races to win. He's a nice horse and he'll make a lovely hurdle horse as he stays well. I wanted to come here for the mile and a half and this is the best ground he's got. We were only fourteen lengths behind Bolger's horse (Cosmic Cannonball) at Gowran and I'd expect her to be rated around 100 and we were here off just 61.
