Punters delighted with their Shining Emerald
He had good form in the book. He ran a blinder first-time out in the Curragh, but the ground was just too quick for him last time at Leopardstown. We probably got away with it the first day. He likes to get his toe in and is above average.
Trees and mud no bother to Captain May
He was in great form and is growing into himself. He's a little slot machine at the minute! . There was a tree fell in the road on the way down and a man with a chainsaw helped. It was an electric one and the cable wasn't long enough so we turned the box and went a different road. I must give him a drop on the way back! . He's an improving sort and he's very tough as well. I bought him for a syndicate which fell asunder. He has plenty of toe and Ben gave him a great ride and Wayne (Lordan) gave him a super ride last time and that's what it's all about.

Nothing like a Romantic Stroll around Listowel
I'm pleased for her. It got very soft and you don't know how they are going to go, but obviously she goes on it. It's nice to win a race here as I wasn't born too far away. I remember riding in a Donkey Derby in Listowel years ago. My brother rode in it too. The fella that rode the winner became a very successful blacksmith in Belmont Park.

Favourite Bayan lands Lartigue for Elliott
Minimum of fuss needed for Lagan Canal
He's a good moving horse and I thought the ground might be a bit of a problem. He was going point-to-pointing two years ago and had a bit of a setback. He jumps well and he might be one for a trip to England on better ground.
