Trip down south worthwhile for Native
That made the journey worthwhile. She's improving with every run and is a nice mare. She had no luck in running at Down Royal last time but she was staying on. Ruby said she handled the ground well and she'll stay further too. She will go for the final of this series at Fairyhouse.
Kid comes good to complete Walsh double
I'm glad he's got his win after hitting the crossbar. He's able to handle the ground and jumped well enough out of it. He'll handle spring ground as well, and will go for a winners-of-one before looking at Fairyhouse and Punchestown.
O'Sullivan Homes in on second winner
That is Sinead's second winner on the track as Shotavodka won before for her at Tramore and amazingly both are by Alderbrook. She was unlucky in Tramore (mistake at the last) and should have won. Paul said she hated the ground but not too many go on that ground anyway. She'll try and win another handicap.
Word is back in the groove at Limerick
He obviously goes on the ground and is fit and well but, when you get ground as bad as that, it exaggerates the distances. He was unlucky before but seems to have improved for whatever reason. He jumps equally well both over hurdles and fences and could go for either next.
Response completes another Mullins double
He'll go for a winners' race somewhere but we won't aim him at anything special.
O'Connor steps in for a winner
Jack got held up for four hours in Bristol airport last night on a flight that didn't go, and it took him another two hours to drive home a distance that normally takes about three quarters of an hour. There was no way he could make it. I love winners but this one hasn't given me as much pleasure as I would have liked. Having said that, I couldn't be happier to get Derek O'Connor as we have a long association together. To be honest it was a fairly ordinary race.
Moulin boosts Golantilla form
She had a great run behind the hot-pot at Cork the last day and is a lovely mare. She has a superb pedigree being out of a half-sister to Newmill, and that's where she got her name. We may go for a winners' bumper with her now.
