Lynam's Lady takes Naas opener
I was very worried about the ground for Lady Gosford and like all trainers, I'm sick of it (the weather). However we just put our head down and ran her and its good to get the win. We'll see what mark she gets now . she has a very good pedigree and her dam is a half sister to Kalanasi. Shane (Foley) said she handled the ground well and she is owned by a good lad, Trevor Dalzell, who had French Emperor with me last year and he has been with me for years - its nice to get a win for him.

Learn stood in the stalls for some reason but he is genuine and relaxed better today than at Killarney, when he was a bit keen. He seems to be getting the hang of racing.

it was a great ride from Johnny . it was seriously good. We are learning as we go along with Man Of Erin - I wanted to drop him in but Johnny wanted to go on with him so we played it by ear. He is still green and we'll see what the handicapper does and progress from there. He'll tell us when he is ready to run again.
