She did it well. She stood in the stalls the last day (when ninth here on her debut 10 days ago) but she ran on well and we were happy enough with her. She could go for a big fillies' handicap in the Curragh over seven furlongs.

I was delighted when the rain came. She won on similar ground at Galway (last July). It was no harm to see a few of them come out here either. I told Shane to keep over on the rail and not to give it up. All of the winners have been coming from the front so that was the tactic to use. It's nice to have a mare that really tries like that and she's by a very nice sire in Clodovil. We'll keep her to tight tracks now and hopefully she'll get draws that suit her,.
Vastonea fresh and ready for Gowran win
He stuck it out well but he had to have the 3Ibs (successful jockey Sam James' claim) off. The rain that fell helped him too.
O'Brien excels on Pepparpot
That's great. I'm delighted he finally got his head in front. He's only maturing now and maybe there'll be another one in him before he goes back hurdling. It's nice to have a home-bred winner too.

That was a grand day. She had a nice draw (in two) and I told Billy to be positive on her. I thought she'd come on a lot from her run here the first day. She's from a very good family and I'm delighted for the Malone's (owner John Malone). She was very honest there. When the other one (Madam Mo) went by her she fought back. I don't know where we'll go next.
