Meade said he had been surprised when the son of Double Eclipse could only finish ninth on his debut at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day.

Paddy The Ref, moved into a moderate fifth two furlongs out, and kept on at the one pace.
Pandorama was a significant non-runner here, taken out because of the ground.
