Picking up in the style of a mare out of her class, she hit the front over a furlong out and quickly put eight lengths between herself and the opposition.

SHERCHANCEIT was eased when beaten and she can be forgiven on account of the hot company and the ground. SHADOW OF THE WIND might have been expected to do better. NOR PEOPLE was unfortunately put down after breaking a leg. EMILY'S CHOICE (coughing) was a non-runner.
