Manning rides a 1st winner for Joseph O'Brien
He had a good run here the last day,. He seems to be slowly away from the gates for some reason. He's a slow learner but he's getting there and the blinkers have been a help to him. It was nice to see him win today. I thought he was just green on his first couple of runs but I'd say he's just a little bit lazy and probably wants to go ten furlongs eventually. I'd guess he'll come back here again and then he'll go to the grass. He galloped out to the line well and I'd say he's probably learning. Kevin hasn't had many rides for me and it's nice to get a winner with him.
McCullagh hoping for more from Flynn's winning Star
Pensylvania Avenue lands good punt on 2nd start
After Black Friday now we have Orr Friday
It looks like we've gone longer without a winner than we have but we had a winner over in Ayr in October,. At different times you'd be hard on yourself with the way you're doing it but it's down to the individual and that's a fair horse. He has a big big engine and probably the only slightly surprising thing is that it's taken me three goes to win with him. He's a proper horse, a stakes horse, and his work was far superior to what he's done, even the last day. We've seen a little bit of it there and Oisin has given him a good ride. The first and second were six-and-a-half lengths clear of the third and I think Joseph likes his. Our lad has a Guineas entry and I suspect he'll be sold on the back of that. He has a super pedigree and he ticks a lot of boxes, size, strength, scope and now he has his winning bracket. Just late on he probably idled a little bit. It just took a couple of runs for him to get the sense to conserve and he did that today for Oisin. He was cruising. It's a welcome winner for sure. It's our first two-year-old winner but I don't think he will be with us much longer. I think the world is his oyster. His brother is a Grade 1 winner in the States, a horse called Glorious Empire, over a mile-and-a-half and I think this lad is going to be a proper middle distance horse.
McCann puts a first 2-y-o winner on the board
Everyone thought she was exposed but she's a good filly and she's improved every time,. She's just been the bridesmaid every time. She looked to have good horses behind her then and she put them to bed very early. She broke very well which was probably the winning of the race as she was drawn 10 so she needed to break that well to win. I'm very happy for the boys as they've supported me. It's my first two-year-old winner as well and to win a two-year-old maiden is a big thing. We were going through a very bad spell in the yard and were hoping to have a couple on the board before now. That's the first one on the board and hopefully a few more will come along now. She loves the surface. She's a Dandy Man filly and will go on nearly any surface. Danny said she's not ground dependent. We got an offer in the last day after she finished third. She's won now so hopefully we can hold on to her. I'd love to have her in January and maybe look for a Listed race and see if she's good enough for that. I think she's stepping up and that will bring her on again. She was going away at the line.

Too Precious wins another on great day for connections
She obviously loves it up here and she's improving,. Today was a big step up because she didn't have the claim and she was up in class. I personally thought she'd struggle. Niall gave her a great ride and saved all the ground. She's progressing away obviously. Eventually we could look at black-type but she won't get a shot at that until next year. We'll find another race up here and go from there. She obviously has a real liking for the place.
