Buckhurst He's very tough and tries his heart out,. I probably committed him a little bit early and he got a little bit lonely in front but when the Harrington horse came to me he found again. I thought I'd get to make the running but Kevin's horse seemed to be keen so he went on and I was happy just to take my horse to his outside and get a lead off him for a bit longer. I was always going to be forward and keep it simple. Once the runner-up came to me my horse found a little bit more, he was probably getting a little bit idle in front.

Leo De Fury That was great. You are always a bit frightened when they win a maiden easily, you are never quite sure what they've beaten. It's great to get that out of the way. We'll make a plan now. Shane said he'll stay a mile-and-a-half. I'd say he'll head up to stakes company now and we'll see where we go after that. He was impressive. He looks like a stakes horse and I hope he is. He's only had the two runs and he'll only improve. Shane said he was a bit green still.

Buckhurst That was lovely and Wayne gave him a lovely ride,. He's a decent horse, we brought him to Ascot last week but we didn't run because the ground was quite soft over there. He loved the bit of good ground today. We'll see how he comes out of the race but we won't be in a rush with him. He didn't run at two and he's had plenty of racing this year so far. He'll step up in trip at some stage, he's an Australia, but he doesn't need to go further yet. He'll go a mile-and-a-half at some stage. He should be a better horse next year. He's still learning and when the horses came around him today he went on again.

Leo De Fury Shane said he didn’t come down the hill that well but he gave him a chance and got him organised. I don’t have him that long but we think he’s a nice horse, and it’s lovely to win with him at this meeting. I think he’ll go on improving and he is one to look forward to.

Kangaroo Valley Whatever gets out in front doesn't seem to be coming back and I decided to make plenty use of him and he stuck at it well. I haven't been riding him but he gave me a nice feel today and he did it well.

Cayenne Pepper She’s a lovely filly but I was surprised last week when Shane said she’s ready to go. I thought being by Australia that she might need a bit more time but he said no,. I’d say we’ll take our time with her, and she was bought to be a three-year-old. She has a good temperament and did it right. She has no big entries but I’d say we’ll put her in the Moyglare when the time comes. Ascot comes up very soon and I think she’s going to be a mile filly anyway. She needed every bit of that seven furlongs.

Altair she's a lovely filly. She was still very green today and was on and off the bridle and ran around a bit in the straight. Donnacha (O'Brien) said at Navan the last day that she was exceptionally green. She'll probably go up in trip now; she's in the Ribblesdale and I wouldn't be against thinking about going there. She's a nice filly and we think she will stay further. We think plenty of her.

Broome We're delighted. He's lazy and that's his way of racing. Donnacha wanted to put him in there and race around tight on the rail. If he's going to the Derby that's what could happen him. We were very happy. He's lovely and lazy and responds only when you want him. I think going to the line he was starting to stretch.

Buckhurst He's a very nice horse. I was a little bit surprised that he won at a mile first time, off a slow pace,. Donnacha was very happy with him. I'd imagine we'll probably step into a Derby trial now and go from there. I was very impressed with him, the horse in front got the run of the race and there was strong word for a couple of others in the race. He's well bred, he's related to The Gurkha and obviously he's by Australia.
