Pillar I suppose I don’t want this year to end. I’d be about the only one who wouldn’t be giving out about 2020!. This fella is a real star in the yard when he gets into his grade. He surprised me as he did that quite easily and is in great form. He takes very little work at home, and I’m delighted for Sean Gallagher who is a long-standing supporter of mine and it’s great for him to get another winner. He ran over five here the last night and was run of his feet. Colin (Keane) rode him and said they went hard because for him to be taken off his feet they have to go very fast.

Youceeyouceecee Paddy gets a great tune out of him and the 7lb (claim) made a difference there today. He has to have the ground sloppy. He's a great old servant and that's his seventh win now. He hasn't been over-raced. I fancied him today but he had to battle for it. The owner is out in Lanzarote in 37 degrees. He's in two races on Friday. One is over six furlongs but it's a 50-80 and might be a grade too high. The problem is he doesn't really get the mile but he might get it if he's held up. I might think about the mile race. It depends how tacky the ground gets if it dries up.

Pillar He’s a great old horse to have and always rocks up once or twice every year. I’m delighted for Sean Gallagher who is a loyal supporter of mine. He was drawn 14 and I thought he was in trouble as he’s a horse that likes to dictate but you can understand why Colin could be champion jockey this year. He got three lengths as soon as he jumped the gates and that’s down to Colin which was the winning and losing of the race. I put a visor on him tonight and we just changed a few things around but I knew he was on song going out there. We’ll just try to keep him right and happy.

Haparanda She handles the ground well and got a good ride from Andrew. She quickened well on the ground. I’d say she will stay in training next year and that will probably be it for this year.

Diamond Eyes She has a lot of speed, she's a very speedy filly. She's very straight-forward and absolutely loves her job . I wouldn't mind a barnful like her!. Alan rode her very well at Dundalk and I said to him then just to make use of her as she's very straight-forward. We had an awful draw there though and if she hadn't been drawn so wide she would have won first time out. We were confident today. The ground was a slight concern but I walked it when we arrived and I was happy enough. We'll probably try her in a fillies listed race now, I think a lot of her.
