Tony The Gent We'll take them anyway they come, I thought it would be the other way around,. This guy has been running well here all winter and that's his ideal trip. The other fella just has a few issues and Joe felt he fell out of the gates, didn't travel great and then stayed on late. The winner has been good to us. It was James' idea to claim him for €20k, I thought he was a shade dear but to be fair the boys know what they are doing when they put in these claims. They have their homework done. He's a good fun horse. It wasn't the strongest race ever but he got a good possy and travelled well. It's great that we are here and the racing is going ahead. It's working fine for now, obviously if the situation escalates and gets worse that's a different story. For now everyone is doing everything right so well done to HRI, IHRB, the Government departments and all the racecourses are doing super work. Everyone is adhering to all the protocols. I stopped in the shops on the way up, galloped a few on the Curragh, and I probably met more people during the day than I have here so I can't see what is being done wrong.

Cafe Con Leche We hacked around, we'd do more at home. He hasn't worked since he won at Clonmel and he loves being fresh,. I was happy to let Darragh (O'Keeffe, on Great Bear) go as slow as he wanted because he used to just about get two miles but he has got stronger now and is more effective in a finish than he used to be. It was a blessing in disguise that he didn't get into Cheltenham as I would have ran him and he had an easy race there so it's great that we're here and great that racing is on. He will be for flat for the summer; he is a big horse and I wouldn't want to run him on quick ground but down the line fences will be his job too.

Sceptical He's a right horse. It was James' idea to come here as I hadn't this in the plan at all,. He won well the last day and we had intended to go straight to Lingfield on Good Friday as he was qualified for it. James (McAuley, owner) said over the weekend, would it be an idea to run him in this race for the experience because he did run around a bit the last day and was a bit green. He'd need all the experience he has because Lingfield is quite sharp. Dropping back a furlong today I didn't think it would be as easy as that, hence why we claimed 7lb off him with him getting 11lb the last day. I'd say his days in handicaps are numbered. You'd love the way he cut through them. He has a lot of class about him and natural ability. It's great that he's done that and he could be the best horse that I've had. He looks class. We ironed out one or two issues with him early on. He had his wind done after he won his maiden here and he's improved no end. We had a good sprinter in Make A Challenge last year and still have him going forward this season. You never know the two of them could clash in a big race. He works with Make A Challenge and we knew he was good. I was a little bit worried going to Doha with Make A Challenge because if Sceptical hadn't won here the Friday night beforehand he had no business being out there and we were already there at that stage. Luckily he won and Make A Challenge ran a good race on very quick ground and got bumped around. We're looking forward to him as well

Cafe Con Leche I followed the favourite and he stopped down the straight and I won't say I went by him at speed, but I got by him. It was a very ordinary race and he was probably rated to win and he is actually very ground-versatile and has good ground on the flat as well. He didn't feel in love with that ground but I don't think any horse would be. It is sapping, gruelling, sticky, deep and not nice for any horse. There was a lot of sloppy jumping but that's because they are finding it hard to get out of it. He's entered in the Fred Winter next week but I'd say we'll take our time with him.
