Valeria Messalina She won a barrier trial here, and is very like (half-brother) Pincheck as she really wants it. She puts her head down and tries,. She’s a smashing big filly and we’ll see how we get on from here. I’d say she’ll run again this year. She knew where she was and she knew where the winning post was.

Elite Legion . I rode her the last day in Sligo but the trip was a bit short for her. She handled the ground today though and stayed well. She was quite impressive at the line and is a tough little genuine filly.

Silence Please I'm delighted with that because she's the first horse I've had for Team Valor, so that was kind of important,. Shane said she was as green as grass and probably needs a mile. She's going to be a nice staying filly for next year. I had nowhere to go with her and the handicapper gave me a fair weight and she got the job done in the end. Nothing helped her as was drawn seven, out on her own, and she doesn't know enough to race out there on her own. Shane said she picked up great when he gave her a couple of smacks and the horses came either side of her, that helped her a lot. She wanted to win and she's very game. She needs to go a mile. She's in the Moyglare and she might go there. She's a nice filly and she'll come on a ton from that so we'll see where they want to go.

Cayenne Pepper It's always a bit frightening because she hadn't run since July,. We've been waiting for this and it's great that Jon and Sarah (Kelly) are over here as well. She did it the hard way. She stays great and she is so easy and straight-forward. She quickened twice, into the wind and everything, she was great. I was very nervous beforehand. I'll have to talk to Jon and Sarah now. She's in the Fillies Mile which is a possibility. They are all in everywhere because you never know when one could get sick or lame. You have to keep all the options open but she seems to go on any ground and she's very very straight-forward.

Yulong Voice He had a good run around here but he didn't like the Curragh,. He was on the outside all the way up the Curragh and Shane couldn't get him to go at all. That's why we put the cheek-pieces on him and it probably helped him that they went very hard early on. He got time to get himself going. He took a while to get going and then he's won well at the end. He stayed well and he couldn't even pull him up. He's probably going to end up a mile-and-a-half horse. It's nice to have a winner for Mr Zhang. We'll see what the handicapper does with him now.

Dancing On A Dream That's job done. She's been second a lot of times and she had been running very well for me,. I just thought this was an ideal opportunity. It's job done and if she gets claimed she gets claimed, that's what she's in there for. It's great to get that done. That's my first horse for the owner and he had another runner the other day, Chasing The Dawn, which was second in Galway. She runs in Cork on Saturday.

Alpine Star She's tough isn't she. She's all heart and stays really well,. Shane said they went hard the whole way and she got a little bit lost in the middle of the race but when she got upsides all she wanted to do was stick her head out. She's tough and needs a mile.

Alpine Star If (Jungle Cove) ran in another maiden, he’d be bumping into the same (type of) horses, having to take them on. So we’re coming here. He’s improved every race and is definitely still an improving colt.
