The ground remains unchanged ahead of this evening's meeting at Galway.

The chase course is still soft while the Flat and hurdles tracks are soft, yielding in places.

The highlight on tonight's seven race card is the €60,000 Guinness Handicap and action at Ballybrit gets underway at 5.10pm.

The forecast is for the weather to remain unsettled with sunshine and showers over the weekend.

Cork race on Sunday and there is a slight change to the conditions at the Mallow venue.

It is yielding, yielding to soft in places on the Flat round course and soft on the sprint track.

The going for the hurdle action is currently good, good to yielding in places.

Naas also reported this morning that their ground is soft ahead of the Bank Holiday Monday fixture there.
