Andrew McNamara was seen to good effect when winning the Batty O’Sullivan Frayden Haulage Ltd Handicap Hurdle aboard the Edward O’Grady trained Slieveardagh.

McNamara who settled his mount in behind the leaders made his progress entering the straight.

The pair kept on well to take up the lead before last and went on to score by a cosy three and a half lengths.

It was the jockey's twenty eighth winner of the season.
