Jack Tyner, who has been battling for survival since taking a terrible fall at Dungarvan point-to-point last Tuesday, has lost his fight for life.
The 19 year old son of trainer Robert and his wife Mary actually rode a winner that day (Exitnell) but in the following race his mount Dusmagic took a heavy fall at the first fence.
Jack was taken to Cork University Hospital, unconscious, and he passed away there this morning.
May he rest in peace.
Funeral arrangement to follow.
