Good field for Betfair Bowl

Nicky Henderson's Burton Port and Riverside Theatre head a field of 11 in the Grade One Betfair Bowl at Aintree on Thursday.

Riverside Theatre steps up in distance following his Ryanair triumph while Burton Port drops back a little following his fourth in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Henderson has a third string to his bow with Master Of The Hall.

Also representing the Gold Cup form are What A Friend, Diamond Harry and Carruthers.

Medermit, third to Riverside Theatre in the Ryanair Chase, steps up in trip to over three miles for the first time as does Hunt Ball.

Keiran Burke's seven-year-old has been the most improved horse in training this season, rising from a handicap mark of 68 to 154 following seven wins in eight races.

Last year's winner Nacarat bids to retain his title while Roberto Goldback and Follow The Plan form the Irish challenge.
