The superscript number on headgear bl2 indicates number of times worn. A plus bl+ indicates more than 10 times where as red background bl1indicates first time.
It was long overdue. You'd want to be half mad to be keeping those ones going! . She had form, but disappointed a few times recently over hurdles. Maybe a few bad jumps affected her confidence. It was her first run back on the level for a long time. She only ran once on the Flat for us and ran really bad and pulled up at the Junction one night. She is a bit like that, though. I always knew there was a race of some description in her, be it on the Flat or hurdles. It was going to be hard to get into a Flat race off her mark of 37. Anything below 40 is first balloted out. When I saw there was only something like 12 entries for this, I said I'd stick her in. Paddy is a great rider, he is a very good apprentice and is a chap going places for sure. I'd say we will definitely go again on the Flat. Obviously, it was a soft enough race tonight, but it's easy to say that about any of them - you have to get there and do it.
