After race at Fairyhouse Wed, 5th Feb, 2025 (1st)  we’re a long time trying to get his head in front over hurdles and he’s not a baby at this stage. I was saying if he wasn’t in the frame today we’d just got back chasing as we might have some chance. He works well but has disappointed us a few days although was unlucky last year on a couple of days. Philip Byrnes gave him a great spin today and actually beat him two runs, so he knew what he was riding. He kept him out on a bit of the fresher ground as along the rail it was very tacky and chopped up in there. He really had to empty the tank from the last home to get there. I didn’t think he was going to get there but it’s great to get it. There is no plan but we’ll find something for him. Edward Cawley

After race at Naas Sun, 12th Nov, 2023 (1st)  we thought he’d have won a long time ago but I never lost faith in him. We started schooling him over fences a month ago and I thought this is his game, rather than hurdles. He had his hurdle mark (of 92) today. He let us down a lot of days over hurdles and I’m happy to keep him at this game now. He was very professional and I hadn’t brought him away schooling anywhere. He does it well enough at home and is a natural jumper. I didn’t look beyond today. I was hoping he’d run well but didn’t expect him to do it that well. He’s versatile over a trip as he could go further or come back in trip. Edward Cawley
