Kyle Valley (IRE)

She won two point-to-points for Sean Osborne, one of my best friends. Micheal (Doyle, owner, with his wife Caroline) was involved with her at that stage and they sent her my way. She struggled over hurdles and she's ordinary, it's no secret. I told her owners that if we ran in four handicap hurdles, that she could run over fences off her hurdles rating. She had experience from point-to-pointing. She went up 3lb for being second in Kilbeggan and Tiernan claimed 5lb off her today, so she was 2lb lighter over fences, off her hurdles mark. It looked expensive at the time going through handicap hurdles but now she's competitive at both. She looked really well in the parade ring today and the lads at home have done a really good job with her. She looked a million dollars. It was the plan to go out in front. She had a very light weight, in a very ordinary chase around the bends here and with loads of jumping experience. I'm delighted she has won. Micheal is a great supporter and is involved in another horse with Lar Byrne. It's lovely to get a winner for him. The horses are running really well and I have very good team at home making it happen.
