Lough Nigara
He is an interesting horse to train, he is a quirky devil and I have to go to the start every day with him,. He has had his issues at the start in the past and Natalie Bradley, who rides him every day and led him up today, does a great job with him. She has transformed him, as he was a very difficult horse when he first came to me. and gets on really well with him. He was much better behaved today and whether the (first-time) blinkers helped, I'm not too sure. It can be a contradiction in him wearing a hood or blinkers, but it seems to work. This is his level, he loves that testing ground and we'll save his chase mark for next season.

How's Hannah
I think she’s a very good mare. I was keen to use one of my 21 rides on her because I just think she’s very good. We might look at the Grade 3 in Limerick during Cheltenham. Ideally, we would have run her last week in Clonmel, but it got called off. We’re a week closer now so we’ll see. Long-term, I’d be hoping she might be one for the Mares Chase in Cheltenham next year. She’s a fine big mare and I love her. She gallops and jumps. We’ve been very lucky with Tim Townend, when he recommends one you listen.

Donnrua Dream
He deserved it as he is really honest. It took us a while to figure him out and while he never made a noise or anything, we just decided to put a tongue-tie on him, which made an awful difference to his work at home,. We had been stretching him a bit too far in his races but brought him back in trip today and the fact that he handles heavy ground, meant we could go down the inside to save lengths. The four-member syndicate are local and we'll run the horse back quick enough, with the ground being so favourable.

She was very good. I bought her off Tim Townend and he was very sweet on her, and he knows the time of day. Then Aubrey (McMahon) took her off me for the Temple Syndicate, who are having great luck at the moment. You can see her there, she’s 17 hands. She’s seven-years-old, but you can see why, with the size of her. Whether we go hurdling now and chasing next year or stay in bumpers, we’ll have to wait and see. The really strong gallop and the soft ground really suited her. She’s not slow either, her work at home says that. She just has a bit of everything. I think Tim Townend might have the brother going to the sales in February, so I was under pressure to run her before that!

Lough Nigara
He’s not winning out of turn. The ground at Fairyhouse the last day was plenty lively for him, but he came out of it well so I didn’t mind turning him back out this quick. We stuck the cheekpieces on him today to sharpen him up. He’s tricky enough, as you can see at the start there, but he (Doyle) gave him a nice ride. I’m delighted to get it for Dunglen Racing. He’s been very consistent for them and it’s nice to get the win. Hopefully, there is another one in him and we’ll go chasing with him then. The testing ground is imperative for him. We’ll tip away with him until it dries up.
