After race at Kilbeggan Sat, 9th Aug, 2025 (1st)  I’m delighted with that. He’s not over big and hopefully the handicapper isn’t too hard on him,. He gave him a lovely ride. He’s in great form and he’s a well-bred horse. He’s a smashing horse, a grand horse to have, and there’s more left in him, he’s only seven. We’ll probably run him over hurdles in Listowel, there is a race in Killarney for him as well. He goes on soft ground as well. He’s a Malinas, they are good horses, and he’s out of a Supreme Leader mare so he’s bred to go on soft. He’ll go through the winter. John Patrick Ryan

After race at Killarney Mon, 12th May, 2025 (1st)  Danny is never too far away riding for me and we go back a long way. He comes in every Wednesday during the summer but I leave him alone for the winter as he is very busy. Danny initially rode for me on the Flat as a 16-year-old and afterwards rang me when he became quiet at one stage of his career. He told me to give him two rides at Listowel one year, both won and we have become great friends. As long as he is riding and I’m training, I’ll give him rides. He is a lovely kid. John Patrick Ryan

After race at Clonmel Thu, 13th Feb, 2025 (1st)  He promised a lot and when we put him in big handicaps he got crowded out of them as he is small but he is a brilliant little jumper. Hopefully he won't get rated too highly now and while he won't be going to Cheltenham or anything, he could be a summer national-type of horse. We'll keep him to country tracks. He is a well-bred horse and his mother finished second in Cheltenham. Dara's brother Oran had ridden for me in the past but this was his first ride for me. I was looking for a claimer and after he won a point-to-point last Sunday, Tom Keating (winning point-to-point handler) texted me on his number. He gave the horse a great ride. John Patrick Ryan
