Miss J. Townend, rider of Swelltime trained by W.J. O'Doherty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ran very flat

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Swelltime, trained by W.J. O'Doherty, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (123 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
