what can you say, he was a lucky winner I suppose! When Moonball fell I thought we might win it and then Davy (Russell, on Monatomic) tipped up at the last. He is a lucky type of horse; the last day in Gowran a joint-favourite fell early, and then they had to bypass the last. They are there to be jumped though. We brought him here today because it's a handy track and the fences aren't that big, but Danny said he'd jump a big fence at a bigger track. It all depends on the ground. He was to go out on grass because he is very ground dependent but once the ground stays good, he will run away. Whenever it changes then he'll be off for the winter. Anthony John Black, trainer

Weights - 4-y-o 10st 9lb; 5-y-o and up 11st 4lb
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase 6lb extra; Horses which, at entry, have not run in two or more steeplechases and/or do not have a published steeplechase rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their steeplechase rating is 109 or less.
