Punchestown could be the next port of call for Mrs Milner after a running-on third in the Grade 1 Close Brothers Mares' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The seven-year-old mare's effort can be marked up as she was badly hampered and lost momentum at the second last, before staying on well to be beaten three and a half lengths by the winner Marie's Rock.

Trainer Paul Nolan said: “She was unlucky at Cheltenham and flew home after being brought to a standstill.

“She won over three (miles) there last year and was finishing best of all.

“In fairness, Henry’s mare (de Bromhead's Telmesomethinggirl) was going well when she was brought down in front of her.

“She will probably go for the Grade 1 (Annie Power Mares Hurdle) at Punchestown.”
