Two Grade 1 races take place on day three of the Punchestown Festival with Majborough and Teahupoo the star names on the card.
Ruby Walsh and Rory Delargy have made their selections on the latest episode of Paddy Power’s ‘From The Horse's Mouth Podcast’ hosted by Patrick Kennelly.

Champion Stayers Hurdle
I think the horse for the future is Rocky’s Diamond, but as a five-year-old I just wonder could this be one day too many for him this season? But I do think he is a massive player in this division next year.
I think Jetara could run well, she’s an incredibly consistent mare, fourth at Cheltenham, third at Aintree, Hiddenvalley Lake was good at Aintree and obviously Henry De Bromhead has sided with him and not Bob Olinger in this race on Thursday.
But the one I’m going to go for at an each-way price is Winter Fog - I think he has form at the trip, way back when — it was a handicap hurdle — but he did win in Cork, absolutely bolted in in a three-mile handicap hurdle.
He does have form at the trip - I think it could be a tactical affair, he’s in good nick and I think it’s the kind of race you could get a result in so I’m going to go with Winter Fog each-way.
Paddy Power: 2 Teahupoo, 10-3 Hiddenvalley Lake, 6 Rocky’s Diamond, 10 Asterion Forlonge, Jetara, 11 Crambo, 12 Home By The Lee, 22 Franciscan Rock, Winter Fog, 25 Colonel Mustard, 66 Meet And Greet
Barberstown Castle Novice Chase
I thought Sam Twiston-Davies gave Brookie a great ride at Aintree to be second, I think he robbed as much money as he possibly could, and I’d imagine he’ll be doing the same thing again.
I saw Majborough this morning [Tuesday]- he was doing his last piece of, I wouldn’t even call it work, he looks an absolute picture, he seems to be in great form and I just think his jumping fell apart on him at the wrong time in Cheltenham and I think he’ll be really hard to beat.
I think he will get his compensation, he made so many mistakes, but yet was still so close to Only By Night that if he even makes three mistakes, it will be good enough to beat her.
What do you do with a horse that makes those mistakes?
That’s life isn’t it — how does anybody get better at something? We all get better by making mistakes and everybody has to make mistakes.
Paddy Power: 4-9 Majborough, 4 Only By Night, 10 Rubaud, 18 Jeannot Lapin, 25 Brookie, 33 Jesse Evans

Best Bet on Thursday
I do think Majborough will win, I think Karl Des Tourelles each-way for a best bet and one in an earlier race who I think is off a mark that he’s capable of winning off is Tullyhill in the 3.05 Frontline Security Handicap Chase. I do think a mark of 146, he should at least be competitive off that.
