Team tips for Galway including a 20-1 chance on Tuesday's card

Emma Nagle was joined on the Irish Angle by Johnny Ward and Paddy Flood to give their selections for day two of the Galway Races.

Pierre Royale is my selection in the big one on Tuesday. He looks to me by far the most likely winner.
Maybe the market will disagree, but there’s so much to like about him. He was trained by Dermot Weld and is now with Ado McGuinness.
He landed a gamble at the Curragh last time, had I think four of tomorrow’s rivals behind him and did it in the manner of a classy horse who shouldn’t be too badly handicapped.
He’s only around 4/1, which wouldn’t be the working man’s price in that feature race on Tuesday.
I think San Aer at around 20-1 is a great bet in the 8.15.

I thought an old course specialist, Dunum, was a big enough price at 17/2 for Natalia Lupini.
He’s 2lb lower this year than he was last year but I suppose he hasn’t run since September.
Natalia is very good at getting horses fit so first time out would be no worry.
Billy Lee rides him, and he’s drawn not too badly. Stall 10 is fine; he has options to go in or out.
I think Johnny is right. Pierre Royale is probably a worthy favourite. He looks a horse that’s on the way up, but I thought Dunum with course form, is definitely a bit of value.
Another really interesting horse is the one in the first race, a horse called Gomez Addams, in the opener at 4.40pm Henry de Bromhead’s horse.
He was a good bumper winner and a good maiden hurdle winner at Listowel. He looks a progressive type of horse. I think he’s probably going to be favourite, and he is a beautiful horse at home.
